To accommodate remote learning during the pandemic, the proctor requirement was lifted

for the online AUXNAV-A (AUXACN), AUXWEA, AUXPAT, AUXSEA, and AUXCOM exams; the

passing score was raised to 90 percent, a 120-minute time limit was imposed, and exams

were authorized as open-book. Beginning on 19 May 2025, the proctor requirement will be

reinstated for the above listed AUXOP course exams, The following exam requirements will

also be implemented:

• Exams will be closed-book with a 75 percent passing score

• No time limit (if completed in one continuous sitting)

• Exam proctors must meet existing requirements as listed in ALAUX 012/25 and the

AUXMAN
