I am proud to share that Robert Carew of Flotilla 13-02 has been selected as the 2025 recipient of the National COMO Charles S. Greanoff Inspirational Leadership Award, one of the highest honors bestowed upon an Auxiliarist by our national organization.

 

This prestigious award recognizes Auxiliarists who demonstrate outstanding leadership by inspiring others through their integrity, vision, and unwavering commitment to the Coast Guard Auxiliary’s core values. Robert’s tireless dedication, humility, and ability to uplift those around him have left a lasting impact, not only within his flotilla, but throughout the Seventh District and beyond.

 

Please join me in congratulating Robert on this well-deserved recognition. His example reminds us all of the power of servant leadership and the profound difference one committed individual can make.

What is the mission of the Coast Guard Auxiliary?

The Coast Guard Auxiliary’s primary mission is to contribute to the safety and security of citizens, ports, waterways, and coastal regions. This involves a combination of recreational boating safety efforts, Coast Guard support, and contributing to homeland security.
